The Finnish municipality of Posio decided to renew its municipal strategy and brand as one project, partnering with NTRNZ media.
The renewal was carried out using a method of comprehensive involvement, where different stakeholders gave their input. This way, we got the stakeholders to really commit to the project, as they felt their voice was heard.
In the strategy, attraction was formulated into the slogan “Kasva rauhassa” (“Grow in peace”), and the central visual element in the new brand is a mosaic emblem representing the local ceramics tradition.
The bold visual identity got a very positive reception throughout, and the Posio executive board said the renewal as a whole was the best strategy process they have ever been involved in.
